Coal

Temporada 1

The Federal Government of Mexico is betting on coal, as an energy source, against all climatic principles. Mining is commonly presented as a promise of development and guarantee of work despite the threats it brings to the lives of miners, to the territory and its natural cycles; mainly it symbolizes the sacrifice of water, soil, and biomass.

This decision places Coahuila as an offering zone because it is being deprived of sustainable alternatives. Regardless of this, there are organizations that are showing that a different relationship with the territory is possible.
