In 1978, Jacobo Grinberg a brilliant Mexican neuroscientist, attends a healing session with Pachita, the famous shaman who performs surgery in deep trance. The experience challenges his own beliefs and makes him question the basis of reality itself. His life and research intertwine in a spiral that ends when he disappears without a trace. Based on a true story that blurs the boundaries between science and the ancestral mysticism of Mexico.
